My unforgettable day

I want to tell you about my last Sunday. It was the 28th of November .And also It was my birthday. I woke up about at 12 o’clock p.m., went out of my room to brush my teeth and saw… My friends made a great surprise for me. They decorated everything in our hostel by different balloons and posters and small pieces of paper with their wishes. It was looked brightly, happily and festively. At that day I was congratulated by everybody. My parents, grandparents, friends called and sent sms for me. They wished me health, good luck, university success, good friends, “the sun under my head” and etc. It was my 18th birthday and so the majority of my friends said: “Now you can buy alcohol in the shops and go to the night clubs!!! Congratulate you!” At that day I bought a new mobile phone, because my previous was broken. It was my parent’s present. At the evening my friends presented me a soft toy. It looked like an orange cat, they chose it very long time and also they have wanted it looked like me. I think they did it, because it was orange and happy like me=) At that evening we celebrated my birthday. It was a small birthday party. I bought a big cake, made a wish and blew up the candles in the cake. Then we started to eat it, it was very tasty!!! Thanks a lot for my friends for such unforgettable holiday!!!=)

One student's day.
I will tell you about a really special day. It isn't my first day at the university. It isn't my birthday. It is Monday.
Monday... Usually this word kills only by it's sounding. The beginning of the week, the last day off was yesterday. And your alarm-clock is happy to say you that it is time to wake up. Brrr...
But fortunately, there are a lot of reasons to make you feel better. For example, to remember that you are a student. And that you have a lot of friends, who will happy to see you today. Remember that you are going to know a lot new things today. Ow! I have almost forgot about the word "Monday".
So, I get up and do such things, which people usually do in the morning: brush my teeth, prepare breakfast etc.
Then I go to the university. A special place. Our own little world in Irkutsk. Everybody is a part of this place. Here we make a base for our future...
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. I study. It will be enough to say that it is a long prosess of learning for students. New knowledge attack your brain faster than you can imagine. At 6 o'clock I go home. Tired and thinking about homework on tomorrow. And it is just Monday. It ends slowly...
When I finally go to bed at late night I ask myself: why people think that student's days are the happiest days in life? And soon I find an answer: because it's time when you grow up, become to realise your main life values. It is a threshold between children's and adult life. And I think, I am ready to step it.

One of my day
I'll tell you about my last Monday. To begin with morning. I woke up very early, because I had to back to Irkutsk from Usolie-Sibirskoye. When I came there I went to University. I felt good. It was very funny. After all lessons I went at home. There I met my friends who live with me. And we were cooking and had meal together. Afterwards, time has come for my homework. I was doing different exercises for a lot of hours.Well, finally I have done my homework!!! I wanted to sleep very much. And, of course, after my visit to a bathroom I went to bad. So, my day has finished!

One of my days.
I would like to tell you about my yesterday life. It was Sunday. I woke up in early morning to cook soup. Then came guests and feed them. They enjoyed it. After they dishes and went to magazine. After that I came home and was doing homework. till 7 o'clock. Then I went for a walk with my friends. It was warm. Sight from quay impressed me very much. When I came home I felt I want to sleep, so I decided it is time to sleep. Then my day finished.

Almost every day i get up at 8:15 am. Then i wash up and have a breakfast. After i tidy up a flat . Usually i do it on Tuesday and Wednesday, when i haven't a zero pair of lessons. At 12 o'clock i go to the university. On Monday, Thusday and Saturday i go to there at 10:30 o'clock. From 11:25 or 13:15 till 18:10 i have lessons. After them on Wednesday and Saturday i go to sport club to play volleyball.
At evenings at home i do my homework from 8:30 till 2:30 pm.
On days off on Friday and Sunday i get up at 9:00. I tidy up a flat, do my homework, watch TV, talk with my young brother and young sister and sometimes play chess with them.)))

So, media education today maybe divided into the following directions: 1) media education of future professionals in media sphere-journalists (press, radio, TV, Internet), cinematographers, editors, producers, etc.; 2) media education of pre-service teachers in universities, pedagogical institutes, training for in-service teachers at professional development courses; 3) media education as part of the general education of school pupils and students in schools, colleges, institutes (that in its turn can be integrated with traditional subjects or autonomous (clubs, optional subjects); 4) media education in leisure centers (Palaces of Culture, out-of-school centers, children clubs); 5) distance media education of children and adults through television, radio, Internet (media criticism plays a very important role here); 6) self/independent/continuous media education (theoretically lifelong).

Media education is closely connected not only to pedagogics and art education, but with such academic fields as Arts studies (including film studies, literature, and theatre studies), cultural studies, history (history of world art culture), psychology (art psychology, creativity) and others. Responding to the needs of modern pedagogy in development of a personality, media education broadens the spectrum of methods and forms of classes. And comprehensive study of press, cinema, television, video, Internet, virtual computer world (synthesizing traits of almost all traditional mass media) helps to correct for example such significant drawbacks of traditional aesthetical education as the isolated, one-sided study of literature, music or art, separate study of the form (so-called “imagery”) and contents while analyzing a specific work.

Media education involves heuristic methods of teaching based on problem solving, role-plays and other productive forms of teaching, developing the individuality of a student, his/her independence of thinking, stimulating creative abilities through the direct involvement in creative activities, perception, interpretation and analysis of the structure of a media text, learning about media culture. Media education combines lectures and practical classes to involve students in the process of media text production, merges the audience into the inner laboratory of main media occupations, which is possible both at the autonomous option and during the process of integration into traditional subjects.
