Of course, it does. And not only to stay in touch. Internet also can help with finding relatives, making family trees. Parents and children, sisters and brothers, even grandparents and grandchildren can communicate with each other using Internet. To send a letter to your relatives you don't have to be a professional. Internet is a very easy thing in use. That's why it becomes a solution to most of problems. You send a letter – and get an answer in just a few minutes!

It does, but just a little. For example, I cant communicate in the Internet with my Granny, even with my uncle, because they are adults and a bit old. But with my sisters and brothers -of course. I also can look at them using skype or something like that. Internet is a really great thing, actually. Not only because you can stay in touch with your family, but because of an ability to meet and communicate with people from all over the world! [color=red]

I don't think that it really does. For example no one in my family, except me use internet for communication,of course it depends on family, but in my opinion majority of people have the same situation as me. Adult generation don't use the internet very much, they prefer to use phones or something else. But nowadays it starting to change, and it is very good.

Of course it does helps. The Internet allows people to communicate much more easily.
It has a great impact on family. Family members are now able to communicate very easily when they are away from each other. First of all you can send messages using Email. Email also can be used to send photographs, video, music and so on. So in any time you like you are able to contact with your relatives and get to know what has happened with them. You can even see each other by using a web cam. This makes it easier to be away from loved ones.
biggrin

I think it does, but not always. For example, nowadays i am living far away from my whole family. And the interent helps me a lot. I can call to my relatives on skype, i can show them photos, send e-mails and to keep in touch all the time. But sometimes people play online games, chat all the time, and don't pay attention to their family. Those people seem to live in the interent, and because of this, relationships will get worse day by day in that kind of families.

Of course it’s true. Much has been said about how anti-social the Internet and mobile phones are. The truth is however, according to new research, communication technology is bringing people closer together. As for me I can tell you a lot of examples when I was far away from my hometown and we kept in touch with my parents, brother and friends. Anyway we can’t talk by cell phone very often, because when I travel abroad it’s expensive and sometimes I just can’t get a connection, then i go to 'Odnoklassniki.ru' and i see all my family right there)) Years ago, it took a long time to write a letter, then find an envelope and go to the post office to buy a stamp and post it. Today we write mails while we wait for our change in the convenience store and they’re sent in an instant. Having free Internet telephone calls also helps us to stay in touch more often and for longer. Everyone’s at it, from five-year-olds to tech-savvy grandparents. Nowadays our life so easier and it’s great, ’cause I wanna be all the time ‘online’ with people I really love.

Nowadays enough ways to keep in touch with loved ones.
In my opinion two of the most convenient is the internet and telephone. But now the possibility of internet connection, broader than the possibility of the phone. And most importantly, many Internet services (mail, video communications, communications) cheaper if not free than the telephone. No doubt the Internet is convenient and use it quite easily. For communication with relatives, just press one button and it is possible to see the kith and kin biggrin

Of course, it does! There are a lot of useful applications like Skype, ICQ. In addition, people can email, using Internet. They can't substitute my mommy's home-made sweets smile , but I like them, really!

Well, Internet is a form of mass media and communication. And of course it does help us to stay in touch with our families, relatives and friends. I understand it now, being far away from them…
There are lots of ways you can communicate with them: using email and sending messages, photos, video; using instant messages programs like Mail Agent and ICQ. Also the distance does not mean much now with the growing use of webcams for personal communication. Words are sometimes just ain’t enough. And it is awesome when you’re able to see people you love and talk with them.
Internet just closes the distance!!! smile

I thing that internet is very important in our live. We can become different information with help of internet. But if we speak about a family i thing that this necessity to have internet must to disappear. We are people and if it is family, relations must communicate without internet. They must, if it possibly, live together. Internet can be correlation for family. Family can break off to communicate in reality. To my mind it is very important for family to have a lively communication.

I think it does. It is just a kind of connection. We haven't discovered a new kind of communication with the Internet. We started doing it faster, than earlier, but we speak and send messengers as yet. And as earlier we had to talk to our parents, sisters, brothers...etc. or send to them a letter, as now we ought to do it, but only we have a possibility to do it more quickly (without waiting).
But there are moments when we have to be together with family and look at mum, and dad, and the others, and at that moments Internet cannot help us...

Of course! smile especially if you're far from home. I believe that Internet helps us to communicate and to live like we would live together in one room)) ICQ, skype are pretty good But not all family members can use the internet. For example my mum still calls a profile "site")))) I think it's one of the greatest thing which human created! so we have to teach our close people to stay in touch with each other smile

It does, but not always. For example, I can communicate on the Internet with cousins. But my grandparents did not even know how to use a computer! So I think that communication with the whole family is much more convenient to use the phone. And for our generation, the Internet is more acceptable than the older generation. Internet is good, but the phone is better =)

Oh,I think that it is a really good idea, but I'm not sure that it will be work..cause,4example,not everyone in a family can use the Internet..like grannies happy And it could biggrin be a problem to try to teach them))So,I think that the telephone or Skype are better than Mail or smth another when we can't hear or listen smbd we want to)As 4me of caurse) biggrin
